About LampTwist

LampTwist sells designer lighting with a story.

Over the years, lighting fixtures have become one of the most important elements in the design of an interior. With that idea in mind, LampTwist was founded in 2015 by a three-member young dynamic team with a passion for design(lighting). What started with a small showroom in Braine-l'Alleud, quickly grew into a webshop with customers from all over the world. In order to offer its customers a true lighting experience, LampTwist will open a completely new showroom in early 2023 with its own design office.

For our (online) shop, we select designer lighting with a strong identity and we work with products of high quality and originality. Thus, in the webshop of LampTwist, you will find both the design classics of major brands and unique handmade fixtures from lesser-known and emerging designers. We want to give them a chance to grow and be inspiring for our visitors, by showing them items they have never seen before.

LampTwist is a young SME with a super dynamic team. The core of three founders was expanded with a first employee at the end of 2020 and our team has grown to 8 full-time multitasking hard workers, all with a passion for exquisite lighting.

In 2021 LampTwist won the BeCommerce Cross-Border Award for the best cross-border shop. With a trilingual webshop, a Belgian heart and orders being sent all over the world, from Europe to Korea, we were honoured for our international sales activities.

💼 Job Description

Our logistics team is always looking for enthusiastic interns to help them in the logistics proces. For LampTwist, our logistics chain is vital and that’s why -after years of outsourcing- we decided to manage our logistics ourselves and got our own warehouse in June 2021 in Tournai. It is kind of the beating heart of LampTwist. Especially when you know that from our warehouse in Tournai, orders are being shipped to locations all over the world. During your internship, together with a small team of motivated, young people, you will help ensure that all orders are being sent correctly and to maintain a well-organized warehouse.

Tasks:

• Receiving and verifying deliveries of goods and orders.
• You process the incoming goods in our ERP program.
• You help unpack and shelve lighting fixtures into stock.
• You refill the material in the warehouse.
• You help prepare parcels for deliveries to individuals and companies worldwide.
• You process order returns.
• You jump in where necessary for administrative tasks related to logistics.
• You signal problems to the responsible in the warehouse.
• You’re in close contact with the Customer Support team.
